GESS Leaders in Education Summit Kenya

The inaugural GESS Leaders in Education Summit in Kenya wrapped after 2 fantastic days. The event featured targeted conference sessions aimed at leaders within the education sector not only in Kenya, but East Africa as a whole, and over 200 school leaders attended. Looking at key training needs and the challenges that leaders of schools and educational institutions face, the qualities shared by all good leaders and the skills to advance in senior positions. The collaborative and innovative sessions allowed attendees to take home practical teaching methods, to use in the classroom immediately.

We were honoured that Ambassador Dr. Amina Mohamed, the Cabinet Secretary(Minister) for Education of Kenya, opened the event which was organised in partnership with the Kenya Private Schools Association, Goodrich Schools and ECL.The event gained interest from the media and was also featured on KTN News
