Testimony Asiagwu is an EdTech Consultant with over ten years of experience in the ICT and Education sector. He is the Chief Executive Officer at BIGT Infotech Solutions Limited - an ICT firm bridging the digital skills gap in the Niger Delta region through STEM education. Testimony pioneered the Robotics4kids Africa STEM Initiative with a vision to reach vulnerable children and adolescents with digital literacy skills. Since its inception in 2019, his team have empowered over 5,000 adolescents with digital literacy skills. The Robotics4kids Initiative has partnered with 13 schools across three states in the Niger Delta region. He has mentored over 100 vulnerable out-of-school children between 10-18 years with free STEM and digital skills training. In his quest to connect local educators to global edtech conferences, Testimony led education stakeholders in Nigeria to The Global Education Supplies and Solutions Summit (GESS) Dubai in the UAE in 2020 and the Bett Show London in March 2022 and 2023. Testimony is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University and obtained an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from The Quantic School of Business and Technology, U.S.A., among other professional certifications. A STEM advocate and a Mandela Washington Fellow, Testimony has received multiple awards and recognition for his work in the ICT and education sector. Testimony believes that access to STEM education at the grassroots can transform Africa’s next generation and improve her socioeconomic indices.
