Terry White is the co-author and contributor to Planning Learning Spaces with Murray Hudson. He has extensive experience in schools and colleges as a headteacher and principal. He works internationally through learning-led design to ensure there is a strong emphasis on learning and teaching and improving educational outcomes when planning, designing and remodelling schools. He is Chair of the Association for Learning Environments, Europe and the founder of EdunovaSpace.

Murray and Terry both passionately believe that good school design can play a huge role in improving educational outcomes. In developing the ‘Planning Learning Spaces’ publication they have been working over the last year in partnership with schools to put into practice a design framework that has evolved from the publication and can support schools in the design and transition to new learning environments.
