Mark Johnson has been an international teacher and school leader in China since 2006. He qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004 and completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with the University of Leicester in 2014. Mark is currently the Deputy Head of Primary School at Hurtwood House China, Qingdao campus and leads on the recruitment of international teachers for all of the Hurtwood House Schools, where he oversees the annual appointment of between 40-60 teachers across 5 campuses. Mark brings the unique perspective of teacher, leader and recruiter wrapped up into one and is looking forward to participating in the GESS Education Global Leadership Summit.
